Abstract

Formal and non-formal educational institutions have the same responsibility in educating children from an early age. Because educational institutions have methods and systems that have been arranged in such a way that they are able to carry out their educational duties properly. Apart from providing education in formal institutions, parents also educate their children in non-formal institutions such as the Al-Qur'an Education Park so that they are able to introduce the Qur'an from an early age. Fluency in reading Al-Qur'an is the main ability that Muslim students must have. The existence of gender differences sometimes also makes a difference in capturing the subject matter of the Al-Qur'an. In addition, the intensity of attendance that tends to make TPQ Darul Hikmah Tarik students more diligent in learning than students is also a differentiating factor in receiving Al-Qur'an subject matter. So that there are differences in fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an. Therefore, this study aims: 1) Describe the fluency of reading the Al-Qur'an TPQ Darul Hikmah Tarik students. 2) Describe the fluency of reading Al-Qur'an TPQ Darul Hikmah Tarik students. 3) Analyze the comparison of the fluency in reading the Qur'an between students and students at TPQ Darul Hikmah Tarik. This research is a comparative quantitative research. The research variable was X1 the fluency of reading Al-Qur'an students. Meanwhile, the variable X2 is fluent in reading the Qur'an for students. The conclusions of this study are: 1) The fluency of reading the Al-Qur'an students at TPQ Darul Hikmah is included in the qualification "sufficient". This is evidenced by the average score of 77. 2) The students' fluency in reading Al-Qur'an at TPQ Darul Hikmah are included in the "good" qualification. This is evidenced by the average value of 79.9. 3) From the analysis of the hypothesis test, the results of the to or t observation are 2.177. While the t table for the 5% significance level is 1,697 and the 10% significance level is 2,042. This means that the value of the t observation is greater than the t table. This means that there is a difference in fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an between students and students at TPQ Darul Hikmah.
